"Give Diabetes the Boot!"

There’s nuthin’ like a good ol’ barn dance to help out a good cause! C’mon out, kick up your heels, and give diabetes the boot. This family event includes a scavenger hunt, pig roast, barn dance, live music with Willie and the Wannabe and Re-booted featuring Judy Harrison. Tickets vary in price from $15 to $30 per person. All proceeds will go to the Ryan Dobry Diabetes Charity, to assist uninsured community members with diabetes. Click here to learn more.

 

November is American Diabetes Month!

November is American Diabetes Month, a time to communicate the seriousness of diabetes and the importance of diabetes prevention and control. For years, the American Diabetes Association has used this month as an opportunity to raise awareness of the disease and its serious complications.


In 2009, the Association launched a national movement to Stop Diabetes® – with the audacious goal of gathering the support millions of Americans to help confront, fight and most importantly, stop diabetes. Click here to learn more.
